Move
Jesus moves within the powerful and totally revitalizing energy of His healing and liberating power; He moves absorbed and immersed in an ocean of compassion, benevolence, and gracious, gentle mercy towards all His children, especially the little ones, the needy, the injured, the weak, the sad, the confused and those who are searching. The religious experts and the theological biblical scholars who are observing Him move absorbed and immersed in a dark sea of judgment, in the poisonous and defamatory mud of slander, in burning murmuring sands. Jesus moves within a living space of love. The religious experts and the theological biblical scholars move within a deadly space of murmuring. God Jesus moves toward humanity walking on loving terrain with a welcoming attitude towards every man and woman. The religious experts and the theological biblical scholars move toward God-Jesus and consequently towards mankind walking on a terrain of discrimination, separation, judgment, and murmuring. Why do the religious experts and the theological biblical scholars move and behave this way with Jesus? Why are they so determined to always move hopelessly immersed in a sea of judgment and suspicion?Why don't they know any way besides gossip and slander? Because they feel weak. They feel weak in his presence. They realize that they cannot control Him, they realize that they do not have adequate intelligence to argue with Him in an intellectually honest, rational way. It is precisely when the mind is too weak to respond to its opponents' objections, that its intellectual activity clings to responses only appropriate to throw suspicion on the opponent's real motivations behind his objections.It is when the mind feels weak that it uses only murmuring rather than the reasoning of its objective intelligence. To the degree that the mind senses it is being won by the evidence of its opponent's reasoning, it uses its perverse ability to deny the obvious, to generate only thoughts of conflict and separation. The religious experts and the theological biblical scholars move with Jesus by denying the evidence of the wisdom and boundless light of His message and they try to muddy His person with suspicion, murmuring and slander simply because they feel weak. The act of force of the mind, which uses its reasoning capability to discredit and cover its enemy with suspicion, is exactly proportional to its weakness. The religious experts and the theological biblical scholars of that time felt weak in Jesus' presence but they did not want to admit it, as a result they lost the wonderful opportunity of meeting the Lord, the Son of the Most High God, in a loving intelligent way. The little ones of the world - the poor, the sinners, the people of ill repute - instead, who did not find it difficult to recognize themselves as needy and weak, could enjoy the power and the gracious friendship, the compassion and benevolence of the Most High God, Jesus the King of universe.
