Maybe

Jesus sends his laborers out into the world to show the people that there is a way. Jesus' disciples have been charged with showing mankind that there is a way, a precise way to live happy, to fully enjoy the wonderful gift of life on this earth, in peace, health, joy and full well-being. The proof of the fact that the disciples were not telling unnecessary lies, making misleading spiritual suggestions or expoundng unusable theories is that besides announcing this innovative message they were also able to heal all the sick people they met along their way without any effort. No one had ever done such a thing. Jesus sends out his laborers into the world  and tells them to go without carrying a money bag, a sack, or sandals and without stopping to greet anyone on the road, that is not to create relationships, seek protection, put down roots, settle down anywhere. He sends them, as he himself says,  as lambs among wolves.
Maybe, at some point in history, moving about as lambs among wolves became too dangerous, risky, imprudent, risky, haphazard and even ineffective, and so the lambs thought they needed to turn into wolves, powerful wolves. Maybe, at some point, it seemed more convenient to the lambs to no longer be subject to mocking, condemnation, marginalization, discrimination, persecution and death and  they chose to become strong and powerful wolves, able to mock, condemn, marginalize, discriminate, persecute and kill. Maybe, at some point in history, moving about in the world as lambs among wolves became too complicated, unsuitable, cumbersome, obscure, difficult or simply inconvenient, not very beneficial, so the lambs hardened their hearts, strengthened their legs and body, sharpened their claws and fangs and set out to achieve one goal: to become wolves able to hunt absolute power. The most dangerous and fierce wolves have kept as much as possible, the aspect, the gestures, the tone of voice of lambs and sheep so they are even more dangerous and treacherous. Although they no longer able to heal anyone, the lambs-turned-into wolves have not ceased to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus, modified ad hoc to support their hunting policy morally and ideologically, so they began to use the name of Jesus as a bait to attract people into their pit of ignorance and fear, so as to tear their meat, intelligence and spirit. Maybe proclaiming Jesus to the world, and doing it as lambs among wolves, has no utility and convenience for the world, but it is the only real and effective way for the children of peace to meet the children of peace. The peace Jesus speaks of is a real energy that can be distributed just as bread can, it is an energetic gift which, if it finds no correspondence and resonance, returns to where it originated. He says: if a peaceful person lives there, your peace will rest on him; but if not, it will return to you.
Jesus speaks of the children of peace as channels, the only channels able to transmit and to expand the vitalizing energy of peace. Only those men and women, who live on earth as lambs among wolves are children of peace, all the others, be they wolves under disguise or not, are the children of separation.
