The project

People in Praise, is a non-profit organisation involved in social activities (Associazione di Promozione Sociale). It uses this site to promote an idea inspired by listening to the beating of two hearts: the heart of God and the heart of men and women.

The first heart that this project wishes to serve is the heart of Jesus Christ, Lord God, who reveals one of the most extraordinary and profound secrets of his heart in his words to the Samaritan woman in John 4: 21-24. Jesus Christ announces a deep divine desire that is also a prophecy, "Believe me, woman, the hour is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. But the hour is coming, and is now here, when true worshippers will worship the Father in Spirit and truth; and indeed the Father seeks such people to worship him. God is Spirit, and those who worship him must worship in Spirit and truth.".

Jesus Christ reveals that God's greatest desire is that we learn to worship Him as never before. God is Spirit and wishes to be worshipped in the spirit, in the completeness and intimacy of His spiritual essence, alone or in groups, and in the truth, that is, in actions that are coherent and just.

This inspired the first aim of People in Praise, to be a humble tool helping bring people’s minds and spirits closer to the knowledge of the Word and the Life of Jesus Christ. Because you cannot worship without love and you cannot love without knowledge.

The second throbbing heart that this project wishes to listen to and serve is the heart of the people of God, the heart and soul of the people who wish to love and worship, praise and sing to the Lord but often lack the instruments - not merely musical instruments - and the most appropriate and effective means to do so. The aim is to help people and communities to rediscover that singing to the Lord is one of the most elevated expressions of love, of spiritual worship and intellectual development.

People in Praise begins this journey using a website, the transparent page of a computer, but as soon as possible this will become a proposal to be experienced firsthand, a direct experience to be lived and discovered together.
