Word for today

The Gospel of John 1:29-34

A great turmoil

The angel Gabriel was given orders by the Heavenly Father to cross the heavenly dimension to go down to earth and to visit a priest named Zechariah and to announce to him that he would become the father of a special child. Baby John was to be filled with the Holy Spirit and to lead the disobedient back to the wisdom of the just to make the Lord's people ready for the coming of Jesus, the Messiah. The angel Gabriel was also given orders to visit Mary of Nazareth, and to announce to her that she would the mother of the Messiah, the Son of God. To manifest the birth of the Savior King on earth, God the Father organized the cosmic cycles, the journey of the galaxies, the orbits of the stars, and much more. The King Messiah fulfills with his birth hundreds of biblical prophecies and makes Himself the centre and the axis of thousands of human generations, daily and global events, wars, empires, human relations, projects, betrayals, earthly love affairs, God's faithfulness, sin, conversion, human revolts, and of divine providence. God entrusted John the Baptist, the man of the desert, who did not live in palaces, had no possessions and did not dress in luxurious clothing, the greatest man born of a woman on earth, with the task of presenting the Messiah, the Savior to the world.
It is John the Baptist himself who reveals exactly how and what he was told by God, On whomever you see the Spirit come down and remain, he is the one who will baptize with the holy Spirit. For the Enemy, the prince of darkness, Satan, it was a time of great turmoil to prepare his servants for the birth of the King Messiah. He had deceived the priests of the temple and the scribes of Israel for centuries, to the point that in their arrogance they were not able to prepare the people for this event and, when the moment came, they themselves were unable to recognize the signs, the prophecies of the sacred texts that were being fulfilled before their very eyes, and the movement of the stars in the sky. The Evil one managed, instead,  to convince Herod that the child the wise men had come  to worship was a great danger to his empire and urged him to massacre hundreds of children to get rid of him. Then the Evil one incited Herodias against John the Baptist and at her request John was ignominiously beheaded to enliven the evening of bored rulers.
There is no doubt, there was a great turmoil around the King Messiah both before and after. But why? What caused all this turmoil? The King Messiah answers the question with His name. He is called Joshua, which means the One who is salvation, the One who saves. The great celestial turmoil was caused by the fact that the King Son was to save mankind. But from what, from whom? Jesus came to save us from death, from evil, from the Evil one, from slavery, from hell, but while this is absolutely true, it has taken on a spiritual and mystical meaning, to the point that it has lost its real meaning. It has been repeated so many times that  Jesus saves us from death, from evil, from the Evil one, from slavery and from hell, that these words have become meaningless and, as long as we are deceived and addicted to stupidity, they do not have the strength to  open our eyes to the light of awareness. What does Jesus save us from that is so important that it moves light and darkness so powerfully and for so long? Jesus comes to save us, that is true, but from what? Jesus came to visit us two thousand years ago, He gave us His procedures through the Gospels, He came with the power of the Holy Paraclete which He has given to his church so that we can be the light and the salt of the earth, but what did He save us from? From extinction, from humankind's  global extinction. We ignored the first word, the word of nature, then we ignored God's Word, and this is leading us to the threshold of the abyss. The powerful of the earth ignored the word of nature and God's Word to protect their own interests, while people have ignored the word mostly out of ignorance, but that does not change the result. Man's thinking heart, the logos of humanity has become so ignorant, stupid, greedy, rapacious and corrupt that it is endangering human life and the life itself of our planet.
God the Father did not plan the birth of the Messiah on earth with such precision and power only to create a new religion, a new hierarchical line of power, a new sectarian institution, or only to save the soul of his children. Indeed, just as the Gospel says, God did it to plant or rather to immerse  humanity into a new thinking heart, a new logos, God's own loving Logos. The birth of King Messiah was meant to offer to all mankind the  chance to evolve beautifully in the light of God's plan, and Jesus, in the name of this project, offered Himself completely to us accepting even our rejection, torture and murder.
Not accepting Jesus means to choose to die because the alternative to Jesus and His procedures is to fall into the hands of the enemy and of his ravenous wolves. Believing in Jesus and trying to follow the procedures of the Gospel does not mean adhering to a religion in order to go to heaven. It is the only way, the only absolute way that humanity can follow to be safe from extinction. There is no other name besides Joshua, the Messiah King, in whom there is salvation, and not just the salvation of the soul. No one better than the enemy knows it, and that is why he never stops trying to deceive as many hearts and minds as possible in the attempt to keep them from  the knowledge of the King Messiah Jesus.
