Before
You can put out a fire with a breath when it is just a lighted match, but not when it is a huge fire. You can stop a stream when it is just a trickle, but not when it is an overflown river. You can stop a snowball, but not an avalanche. You can stop a small wave, but not a tsunami. Can you, Capernaum, stop God's arm from casting you into the depths of hell. Can you, humanity, stop God before He shows might with His arm, before He disperses the arrogant of mind and heart, before He overturns the powerful from their thrones, or before He sends the rich away empty, because when it happens, it will not be easy. Humanity, you must not change, improve, convert yourself out of fear, that would be ridiculours, but do not forget that you are in debt with life for at least one thing: respect. Humanity, do not despise man, do not despise the Gospel's help or the voices that Jesus sent to wake us up. Those who reject the prophets sent by Jesus to wake us up, despise Jesus. Those who reject Jesus reject God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. Humanity, do not change, do not improve, do not convert yourself out of fear, the Lord does not force you to do it, but the rope you are pulling around the neck of the poor, the homeless, the hungry, the thirsty, the dishonoured and voiceless is the same rope that you are tightening around your own neck, and you can stop it only before it is tightened and the knot starts to suffocate you. Humanity, you do not need to change because you are forced to, do it for the sake and in the name of love. Stop to think for a moment that the pride and arrogance of your heart of stone that you have used so violently and stupidly against life and nature will not be stopped by God but by the forces of the cosmos itself.
Remember, humanity, God will not tell you "stop it." He has already spoken. From now on, it is the sun, the stars, the planets, the forces of nature and the earth itself that will do the talking. They will scream out their "stop it" to your arrogant and proud ignorance and vanity.
