Gravity
The body has to take gravity into account to walk, run, jump, and in fact it naturally accepts its dynamic laws which permit it to find the balance that allows movement. If the body wanted to move without observing gravity's laws, it would end up getting broken and wounded. The body fully accepts gravity during every movement, but the mind can convince itself that it does not need to depend on it.
Love is the existential gravitational field in which God has placed us. It is love that generates everything, sustains everything. Love is the force which everything obeys and in which everything finds movement, harmony and balance. The spirit, in every movement, knows it and accepts this energetic gravitational field, yet the mind, our deceptive ego, does not accept it, and thinks it can get around it.
Living pretending that the spiritual gravitational field of love does not exist is the most destructive and terrible of the mind's illusions. We cannot really survive far away and uprooted from the spiritual gravitational field of Jesus and of the Paraclete Spirit. Convincing oneself that we can live outside of the gravitational field of His love is like choosing to switch off life, or to ruining harmony, destroying beauty, emptying everything of meaning, eliminating happiness. Jesus suggestion is: Remain in my love, literally, remain in the love that is mine. It is an invitation to take no steps outside of Him or His love's gravitational field. His love is different from everything else, it is the source of everything, it is the generating frequency, it is the mother frequency of everything. We could say, paradoxically, that more than on a mystical or metaphysical plane Jesus' words are an invitation on a physical level to embrace forever the physics of the heart.
