Learn
Jesus hardly ever points to himself or to His way of being as the sublime and highest reference for all humanity, but this time He does it clearly and with no hesitation; He says: learn from me. Learn what? Why?
In life we either do everything to live and to favour life, or we do everything to die and to favour death. In both cases procedures need to be followed.
Jesus' words leave no doubts: according to Him, even when a person wants to live and favour life, he/she does not know the right procedures to use, and, if he does know them, he/she foolishly does not use them, or is too deceived to be able to use them. Jesus explains it clearly and simply: some procedures, if used, can favour death and lead to death, while others, if used, favour life and lead to life. Jesus inspires us to learn from Him the procedures which, if used, support life and lead to a healthy, full, harmonious, happy life. What can humanity learn from Jesus, what can we learn from His way of being, from His meek and humble procedures which He Himself used? Jesus Himself reveals it: learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart. Meekness and humility are procedures to use always and in whatever we think, choose, decide, do and put into action. Meekness and humility are procedures which, if used in all we experience and live, support life and lead to a full and happy existence, as they move a vital energy. Meekness is vital energy which sprouts from a heart which is never inclined towards conflict or competition, which never tries to make room for itself inside others, instead it makes room for the others inside itself with gratitude and compassion. Humility is vital energy which sprouts from a heart that is aware that everthing comes from God's love and is deeply moved by it. Nothing on earth can make a person's brain wise and intelligent as letting it work immersed in the spiritual light of humility. The humble person knows, realizes inside himself/herself with no doubts, almost scientifically so to speak, that the origin of all things and the reality of all existence is found in love, goodness, beauty, intelligence, God's power, and he/she uses all his/her energies to be grateful and blessed.
The energy opposite to the one generated by meekness comes from the conflictual pride of power; the energy opposite to the one generated by humility comes from ambition which leads to arrogance and presumption. Why should we learn from Jesus how to use the energies generated from meekness and humility? Simply because, by following other procedures such as conflict and ambition, man cannot attain not even for a single day full happiness, peace, serenity, certainty, or well-being. Why should we learn the procedures of meekness and humility? Because it is the only way to find rest-peace for your psyché, says Jesus literally. Only by using humility and meekness in all circumstances can we find rest-peace for our mind-psyché, which means peace, well-being, health, serenity and happiness.
Humanity has had the possibility to use all the other procedures generated by other voices, to try to be happy and live in peace, but nothing, absolutely nothing has ever really worked, oppression, fear, tension, solitude, stupidity, slavery, war, death continue to grow, and the heart-psyché of humanity is not at all in peace. Jesus repeats it with love and infinite sweetness, he literally says: Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest-peace for your selves-psyché.
