How do we do it?
Jesus asked Himself this question often. How do we continue to judge others, thinking it will uphold some shred of truth or justice or bring some enlightenment or peace? When we judge our brothers and sisters we put our blindness and stupidity in front of the class, and from that pulpit every possible evil, destruction, violence and harm to humanity descends like a waterfall.
Who is the man that in his heart and mind can be said to have the omnipotent and omnipresent vision of God, to know every detail about everyone and everything, in order to be able to express a judgment and pronounce a sentence? Anyone who expresses any judgement against someone else, before knowing every single detail about that person is a blind, evil individual who places him/herself arrogantly in the place of God; he/she is is a blind, evil person who tries to guide other blind people. He/she stands against God. He/she increases the deception and darkness in the world. Judging a brother is the most perfect way to become a servant of evil. Using judgment as our own mental orientation and spiritual method to fight evil and to purify others is the surest way to become an adopted child of Satan. To judge and to condemn is the mental and spiritual activity that identifies Satan as Satan.
To judge a brother is like joining physically with Satan. Who can judge but God and God alone? To judge a brother is a mental position, the psychic mechanism that puts us in God's place; and it is this subtle and profound act of idolatry that prevents any spiritual and emotional evolution and blocks the realization of one's divine dream and creative potentiality. The mind, so obsessively occupied in judging, is and remains vulnerable when facing danger, subject to being manipulated by the powerful, weak because separated. And it is a mind so obsessed with judgment and prejudice, weak and blind, which generates in itself that incurable need to strive to save and to guide others, but it does so only as a blind man can do with the blind, making it the most pathetic and dangerous source of trouble and endless darkness of human history.
Who is the man or woman that, as a result of inflicted and received wounds, does not have a huge beam firmly planted in his/her eye, heart, soul, mind? But the most terrible thing about judging is that no human mental process like judging triggers or attracts God's resonating judgement. The one who judges enters into energetic resonance with the movement of Satan, and unfortunately he/she inevitably attracts God's resonating judgement. That is why the Gospel reminds us: "stop judging that you may not be judged. For as you judge, so will you be judged, and in the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you." Jesus is still wondering how we manage to do it. How do we continue to adhere to this mental and spiritual perspective that is so fanatically stupid and destructive? Jesus is still wondering how we manage to do it, and who do we doing it for.
